Personal finance website WalletHub ranked 49ͼ in the top four percent of the nation's public two-year colleges.

In its annual Best and Worst Community Colleges report, WalletHub examined three key dimensions: cost and financing, education outcomes, and career outcomes. 49ͼ ranked No. 25 out of 650 colleges in the study and second highest community college in the state.

Strong student key indicators have long been a staple of the institution. 49ͼ has posted the top graduation rate in Kansas for six of the last nine years and the best fall-to-fall retention rate in four of the last five years.

“49ͼ students continue to excel in the classroom and life,” said Executive Vice President Nikol Nolan. “The faculty, staff, and students who are part of our campus are not only committed to student success but to ensuring our institutional vision of transforming lives in the communities we serve.”

49ͼ has a history of providing a solid return on student investment and has been recognized by other independent organizations such as SmartAsset and University HQ.
